DVD Movie Review [ 08-31-06 ]
1. Barefoot Gibong | A film with such a heart. A slightly disfigured / handicapped guy, who loves to run. Alone, running barefooted on the streets of a small town Korea, he runs from one end to another to do simple tasks to earn some cash or food for the person he love most of his life, his mother. And with a small opportunity to win some cash, he joins a racing tournament, for him to be able to buy his mother a set of false teeth. Uneducated but never putting a out a face of anger to a slightly harsh world that surrounds him. This film is not even close to "Rainman" or "I am Sam," but it will surely make you cry. This is more of a feel-good movie. You seldom feel good about the fact that it makes you cry, but this film does offer such a heart. It offers a bit of laugh, alot of happiness, and the fact that it'll make you cry and think of all those people that cared and love for you, and wishing that you'd do the same thing for them, well, i see this as a good film, that appeals to all person. Even the heartless kind. RATING: 9/10 Music and Soundtrack: 4/5

August 9, 2006DVD Movie Review [ 08-09-06 ]| R E C O M M E N D S |
![]() 1. 16 Blocks | A criminal turned state witness and a cop goes head to head with the most corrupt organization within the NYPD. They need to get across 16 blocks for 118 minutes to get the witness' testimony on the stand. Going against a notorious corrupt ring of policemen, well as we know, it's not a pretty thought at all. But suddenly the plot thickens. Quite an interesting twists and turns in this story, that will get your head ducking bullets. Bruce Willis portrayed the slightly overweight old cop, usually his got this wasted look as always. You've seen it before. Imagine his image on Die Hard movie combined with Sixth sense's character, and voila, instant wasted cop. The only difference with Die Hard is he's in a good looking suit. Anyway... Mos Def, portraying a common thug who'll play the part of as a witness against a corrupt cop, he witness killing someone. He's quite fit for the role, he's got that gangster attitude, the usual tripper and a sensitive side, eager to have a better life than what he has. Plus, you've got David Morse, the typical bad guy. Mellow down, cunning, plus he looks good on a suit. I love his brown coat and light blue shirt under it, the tie fits perfectly too. I bet it'll look good on me. The story was really good, I mean, the twists were really interesting. Well, it's just a simple action and thriller film. and if you want a movie with guns, cops and constant running? you'd want this one. Good guys and bad guys, shooting each other, it's one of those films that most men would enjoy, without the painful thinking. The sound was really great. If you've bought the DVD, you'd really love how the sound effects were perfectly carved. You could hear the gun shots as if you were there. I especially loved the panning of sounds, that when they move, you could actually hear the sound move with you. If you have those 5.1 speakers or home theater setup, and you're into sound clarity, buy this film. Perfect clear sound, beautiful soundscape, musical score that will really get you in the mood. The actors really portrayed their roles well, especially Mos Def. There was one scene where he was about to be framed, with gun and then he later on they'd shoot him, he portrayed that part well. You don't just stand or pretend scared to a gun point, you really have to fear the gun, fear death. You could really see him, giving this crying sound and bending as if he wants to get away from this all, it was really a good performance. He really can act. It's not just the look, I mean, most rappers if they played the part, it's all about being COOL, well here, you can see that he played the part of a person where he can actually commit a crime and at the same time had that emotions that most people show when they're in a state of fear, sadness... The only movie I've seen with this kind of emotion portrayed perfect, was of Saving Private Ryan. Though I have to say, there was some inconsistencies within the movie. I had to comment with its timing. Basically, it a race through time, they have at least two hours, but they acted and set the area which overlasped the time. Considering the area, you have 16 blocks, at least more than 10 blocks they'd have to walk, right? Bruce's character was this typical obese cop, with a bad knee, plus he get shot in his hand. If you've been shot in the hand, you'd really feel the pain, you can't walk that fast. The dialogues are over the set time frame, you'd notice constant views of the clock and it doesn't add up. You'd go up a building which is located in New York, most building with elevators are 5 stories high, Ground floor has at least 4-5 meters height, succeeding floor has 3 meters, and a stair thread of .20 meters average, how fast can an obese cop, with a bad knee, go up a stair so fast? Plus you have dialogues which has at least 10 minutes worth of exchanged words, How can you comply with the 10:00 Am deadline? This was overlooked on the film though. But if you're not that attentive with this kinds of situation, it won't matter. Other than that, the film was really good for action/thriller enthusiasts. It's a nice film, the dialogue just doesn't fit the time frame, that's all. RATING: 8/10 Music and Soundtrack: 4/5

August 7, 2006| decadent white |These are but tales and not of any reality. Just a literary view on what a person might be thinking, giving him a disorder, disfuncional point of views in life. It's been part of an artwork I've been compiling in preparation for my submission for AIR program. I'm not hoping for any support on what I'm doing but please do understand that these are just representation of emotions from a different, and unaccepted by society that depicts life as breathing normally. Not all of us have better things in life, may we be rich, famous or coming from a good family. This but to put things in a different case, a different point of view, or better yet to view your life as the victim, the culprit or the sadness that other people bear. SUBJECT no1 | psychosis | | Today was no one’s birthday. | So here I was facing them, right? And then, “BAM!” Fuck you! Fuck you! And you! “BAM! BAM! BAM!” I’m so pissed… Goddamn it, I’m so pissed.Putang Ina ka! BAKLA! Bakla! Mga bakla, magkantutan kayo! Puwetin nyo isa’t isa. Tang ina kayong lahat. [You’re a whore of a mother! Faggot! Faggot! You all are faggots,
fuck each other! Fuck each other’s ass.
All of you are whores of a mother.] These words kept ringing in my head. I just shot 4 guys, man and it was so relieving. Goddamn relieving. For year I’ve been kept like an animal to a cage. Fuck! Slowly sobbing my tears, wiping it with blood drenched hankies that I got from that fucking faggot. I just want respect man, I need some respect… Yeah? Maybe some love too. Why should everyone else be happy while I’m not? Fuck man, fuck! I just shot 4 guys man. Today… Today… Today… Today…Shit man, shit. I woke up with nothing, no hopes, dreams or anything that would compel me to live another day. Fuck man… fuck you. FUCK GOD! FUCK YOU! Fuck everyone who’s ever been happy.Today… Today… Today… Today… I just shot 4 guys… Shoved the gun up of his forehead… Pare. Sabog! Wham! Puta pare, it was cool… Shit man. You can see how he bleeds pare. Speechless, eyes that stared back as if he’d seen the afterlife; he went down fast enough for me to be able to point it to the rest of those faggots. Fuck man! Fuck! Ha ha ha ha ha. It’s official now, I’ve got the gun and I’m God! I decide who lives or not.I’d just shoot anyone who crosses my path. “Dude… We don’t want any problems.” This guy was begging for his life? So you know what I did? I shot him on his left knee. “Aaaah”, you could hear him crying like a bitch. Gripping his wounded knee, trying to inflict pressure to his knee, but that won’t save him. I’ve got the gun and I decide who lives or not! Fuck you, you and you!Fuck you all. Then there were these two fags, they tried to take the gun but I was faster than shit. Think Flash with an attitude. A fucking pissed off attitude. Putang ina, Degenerates. I was pushing off this faggot’s face, pressing it away to a wall, while this fuck was grabbing the gun off my hand. I’ve had enough of this fucked up life! Why should they be happy? Why should anyone be happy, and I’m not? Fuck you! I woke up with nothing to care about, nobody loves me, and nobody gives a fuck! Today’s my birthday, and I hope everybody dies! I hope today, everybody dies! Everybody dies. Fuck. I’m having a personal crisis and I’m taking it all out on you. Bitches, whores, degenerates, cool, famous, rich. Everyone, everyone will die today. Slamming him down on a brick wall with molds that’s been growing of thousand of men’s piss, spit and probably blood from victims that fell by this section of the wall, I felt on top. I felt a sudden power trip. I’m God for now, and I’m in control. Kicked the other faggot by his fucking genitals, I let a good kick to his left nuts. And as I pressed this faggot by the wall, my fingers up his eye sockets, I could hear that faggot on the left still whining like a rape victim. So, I shot him on his head. BAM! I felt a sudden rush. I’m the master now, and I decide who goes down and who doesn’t. Today… Today is my birthday. I decide who dies today. Shut it! You fuck! My fingers punctured his eyes of his eye sockets. I was fucking cool, man… I just want to be God, today. And this is happy. This is so fucking right! I wasn’t enough. I had to use my thumbs. “Please… please… please… “He’s crying, begging me to stop. Not today. I’m not yet thru! Today everybody dies. I pressed deeper down his eye sockets. I’m having the time of my life. “Mama! Mama!” Such a bitch. Most men cry for their mother whenever they know they’re dying. I had none. Why should I care? I had none. I’m not done. I started kicking this guy by a corner. He was laying down, his back on the trash bin that stood 1.5 meters from the pavement that’s been blackened by grease that leaked from trucks that had been parked on this alley. “Please… man, I’ve had enough… please… today’s my birthday man… please. I don’t want to die.” Birthday? Fuck you! Today’s my birthday and not yours. Not anyone of you. Not anyone of you… I felt crying. Why should they be happy and not me? BAM! BAM! And two more shot to end the day. Today… Today… Today, no one had a birthday. Why should anyone be happy? Cakes? Parties? I never had any of those. I never had any. Not once. Why should anyone be happy and not me? Today… Today… Today… Today was really not a good day, nor any other day. Why should everyone be happy… And not me. Not me.| decadent white | dec·a·dent (d adj. July 26, 2006bleedingboy soundtrack: theme songs for a thousand wounded hearts [1st music album]In my days of composing my own music, aspiring to be a musical scorer for films, commercials/ advertisements, animations, i've come to a point where i thought of releasing my works available for download and hopefully to sell it. I've always been wanting to be a real musical scorer, one that works side by side to famous indie films that are right now abundant in the market. I've specialized my skills in producing sounds that fits perfect to a scene. In making such tracks its not as easy as people had thought about it. Once, someone commented on the music we're making and said, we had no skills at all, it's basically drag and drop. Drag a loop here then it's done. Sad to inform them, it's not that easy, it requires much more skills than they've ever thought of. You should be able to create music, knowledge about instruments is really required. Say for example, you have a synth or VST plug in that can produce a violin sound, you'd still need to emulate or simulate the real thing. Most electronic music you hear, lack a certain aspect. They need to have a sense of space if you're to produce or simulate the real thing, otherwise if you want to sound electronic, you can simply do without a sense of space. There are lots of category with regards to electronic music. We have dance/trance musicians, Industrial/Dark Electronica, Easy listening or you can create a new genre. You can be anyone you want. So long you have an ability and you really pursue making music. In my case, I choose creating soundtracks, and trying to pro-create the sound as the real thing. This requires one thing that most music listeners or starting bands don't really consider [though some are quite good to consider this], mastering the track. I, myself is still on the point of learning things. I haven't even had the full potential of mastering such things. For example, if you played your TV and you Radio at the same time, you listen to the part where you could hear the radio commercial, simultaenous with any TV shows, and you'd notice that you'd hear the radio commercial over the TV sound. This requires knowledge with compression, this is but one of the parts you'd need to learn about mastering. Even in recording guitar tracks to your voice, need special knowledge. You'd really have to learn about all this things. Well, that part is not really the topic here. Recently, i've made some songs or as i call it, filler. These are tracks that connects all songs together. Think of it as one short film, connected in scenic music representation. It tells the story through loops, notes instruments, giving you the sense of its drama. I've uploaded filler no. 3, entitled; 2 minutes of Self-Suffocation. This is a filler connecting track two and three. If you've ever had those points in your life where you suffocate yourself. Suffocate in a sense that you try to blame yourself of things that you've done to fuck up your life or a situation. Things that you've been regretting, blaming your negligence or others, of things that got out of your hand. This gives you that dismantled feeling of sound, ridiculing your idea of yourself being pathetic and in some way recovering out of it. And all you need to do is really forget about it, and forgive yourself. The album was entitled; Theme songs for a thousand wounded hearts. Songs that emotionally attacks your sadness, hurt and blames, but in the end it'll providing you a new landscape; a new world or you eat yourself up to a much more deeper hole; the darkness. The outcome of these tracks will determine my next album. A consumation of your sadness and recovery, depicted to sounds. All songs will be described in written words, for you to have an idea how and why such track was produced or why the choices of sounds was prefered to depict a point in your life's down position. Right now, i've composed 4 tracks on this EP, and just finishing one of the tracks; Sui Fen Ni [tales of one summer's fragrant bloom]. I've posted it with my soundplayer here in Buzznet. I'll be posting all the necessary backdraft to the songs here for more informations who will be downloading the full album. But i'm thinking... Why not sell it? July 22, 2006SUI FE NI [tales of one summer's fragrant bloom]
I've just posted the song on Acidplanet and Buzznet. This was the song I've been mentioning on my past journal pages. I was and still stuck with this song.. I can't seem to figure out what to do next. anyway.. here's some info about it.
taken from acidplanet's song page [ http://www.acidplanet.com/bleedingboysoundtrack ] i've been busy. I've been stuck to a song, it seems its hard to compose these past few weeks. I've recently bought an M-Audio Oxygen8 v2, and tried it out on this song i've been making. It's mostly piano for now, and I have no plans of releasing it full on acidplanet. This is the last track to an EP, to be release on QED records. 'Tis an unfinished song, it's not entirely furnished. | LINK | http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=839874&t=4613

July 21, 2006DVD Movie Review [ 07-22-06 ]Recently, I bought several dvds. Mostly asian films, I've got tired of those hollywood films, they've resorted to visuals rather than the story lines and conventional way of making a film. Though several movies have developed their visual technique, they've compromised good story lines. Bring back movies like Romeo and Juliet, an artful display of fast forward stop and removing the sense of a prolonged scene and getting straight to the point. Though I love ridley scott's [or was it his brother?] approach with "A MAN ON FIRE." a very unique way of showing a film, with those text that pops out like commercials, and soundtracks that varied from a "mariachi's" melodrama to Trent Reznor's distorted "Oye Como Va," and a spanish version of "Mickey." giving much a unique style of both visual and ambient feel, makes you want to just go inside and be in the film. Plus a stunning acting from Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning. NOW, if they make good movies like that again, let me know.. recently, they lack story lines, sure they've got such good dialogues, but remaking asian films and adding too much special effects on it, [i.e. The Ring], it really doesn't give us that "hooked" feeling. Either way, I still give my respect to those directors, actors and all those who are engaged in making films. I've seen several dramatic films that really grasp my attention. Sad to say when you get tired of things, you tend to search for a new satisfaction, and when you've reach this level, sometimes it's really hard to be satisfied by basic or in some case, same old styles. But nevertheless, let's continue.
note: all opinions are my own, and if people don't agree, or are offended of it, this is not my intention. All opinions are neither right or wrong, they simply express one's point of view.

![]() 1. Daisy | it has guns, girl, and painting? what the fuck? ok... ok... this is a good film. PG-13, so bring your kids from 13 and up. I love the mala- MONSTER [Anime] style of telling a story, they let all characters meet first then they subdivide it, and give all 3 characters, to tell their story in their own point of view. The visual color used is really dramatic, plus a nice choice for a film-setting placed around Europe. If you know the movie "SASSY GIRL", then you'd want to watch this, the girl is actually, that sassy girl. She'd grown and I really would say, had improved her talent, especially with parts that doesn't require her to speak. Set on a European plaza as a backdraft, an assassin and an interpol fell inlove with the same girl. The story revolves, and you'd really want to see it. RATING: 10/10 Music and Soundtrack: 4/5 ![]() 2. Shinobi | if you're into that hit anime series on TV, NARUTO. You'll love this one. I was kind of frustrated, over the fact that it was less than interesting or "breathtaking" as Azumi was. I was thinking, this is part of Japanese History. It turns out it was just a basic beautification of a culture. Shinobi, as considered to be a dark arts common among ninja clans. But sad to say, it wasn't informative, but rather just some plain, slash, dash and kill, with matching powers that can equal to immortality. Though each ninja has different and interesting skills, I wasn't that much amazed about it. But nevertheless, its one of those film that you'd just want to watch because of its cool effect, perfect for younger generations. Oh, think of it as Brad Pitt [OCEAN 11's style] cross-over with Azumi. They've got a good sense of fashion for ninjas, hahahaha. I thought ninjas only wore black and everything is black. If they wore tie, its black. Nails? black. I bet their teeth are black too. hahaha. Just kidding. Still if you just want to relax and enjoy a good movie, this one will satisfy you. keeps you off that chatting channels waiting for someone to turn on their webcams and strip in front a thousand audience, crossing the seas and ocean. RATING: 7/10 Music and Soundtrack: 3/5

July 20, 2006rasta / patois dictionaryI love bob marley's music. gets you in the mood for your roots, not in a sense that you have to pretend rasta, no. it just makes you want to love freedom, tracing back your own identity. now that's the sense of what he's been singing about. a man's struggle for freedom. a man's look for peace amidst the chaos and corruption that's been gripping us. nescience, is not an option. we must understand how rasta language is spoken, what it means. so here, i've posted a dictionary for people to be able to learn rasta or patois language. July 16, 2006lame... lame... lame.. goddamnit! lame!everything is lame... i must have counted the eggs before it even hatched. fuck! i'm stuck! why? because I'm stuck! it's the common problem in making music... there are lots of dead ends. Now i feel like i should leave that track again. It's been awhile since that happened. I'm starting to give up on a track that i found to be so interesting. Why? i don't know why. probably the fact, that my inspiration, sucks so much ass. I give up! I want to do hardcore music again, but i have to finish the fourth and last track for me to be able to release with Electronica Manila: two and QED records. but instead, i'm skipping hoops and tracks again... Goddamn it. No! don't tell me prayers would do with this... it has nothing to do with praying, it's simple as, I want to hold the only moments I treasure, regarding a track and channel it as a note on a midi sheet. then reproduce, emulate, assimilate the sound and you shouldn't be succumbed within the apocrypha of your notes. they're just notes to a song, they're not your life. as fall out boy's song stated "i'm just a nudge in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song." she is but a line in my song! I miss zhang ping! if she was here, and i could see her, i'd be able to make the track without holding back. At least that girl gave me inspiration. While this one, God, she's lamer than a post, she's too numb for me. she can't feel me, she can't see me. and worst of all, I don't need her, really. She's just an excuse, a scapegoat. but reality is, she's not my interest. if she was before, not anymore. I'm bored of her... I'm glad I don't see her everyday... I'm tired of her... I'm glad I don't need her in anyway... But isn't it? when you're bored, you make music? ["you see i'm bored, but you move me, like music..."] -deftone; MX. But never the less, I have no choice but to cancel the music... Fragrance lost in a mist... I'm tired of that sound.. hope it sucks donkey dick! Got to find a certain shape to a song... Got to find the meaning to create sound again... again... again... I can't find her... I can't find her... I need something... Give me anything... I need to make music... I can't find her... I need to be... I can't find her.. Fuck, why won't you let me! I can't find her... I want to be... I can't find her... I wish to be... I can't find her... I CAN'T FIND HER!
alas, i'm back to what i'm supposed to be. [ and the silence pricked my eardrum, much more deafening than the noises i make.]

July 11, 2006meaning of swastika.
Swastika, is suppose to represent power, sun, good luck. Now thinking back, we know that Swastika was a symbol that gone wrong due to some men's ideology. I never really hated Hitler's idea of struggle but the part where he started killing people, inspiring racism, there I stood against such things. I normally don't talk about this but things need to be clarified. The Oldest Known Symbol The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE. During the following thousand years, the image of the swastika was used by many cultures around the world, including in China, Japan, India, and southern Europe. By the Middle Ages, the swastika was a well known, if not commonly used, symbol but was called by many different names:
Though it is not known for exactly how long, Native Americans also have long used the symbol of the swastika. The Original Meaning The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck. Even in the early twentieth century, the swastika was still a symbol with positive connotations. For instance, the swastika was a common decoration that often adorned cigarette cases, postcards, coins, and buildings. During World War I, the swastika could even be found on the shoulder patches of the American 45th Division and on the Finnish air force until after World War II. From Jennifer Rosenberg, http://history1900s.about.com/cs/swastika/a/swastikahistory.htm If you read what is written above, we can see how the symbol symbolizes the good part of life. bring power, promoting good and giving people luck in battle, struggle and a search for strength. Then further on, as I've learned and analyze the world's history, people used it to represent race against other races. And as noted to several people against such symbol, and retaliated in forms of documents, articles and songs. Attacking the very source of strength, a part of a flag that stood against every other things. Rage Against the Machine's song Bullet in Your Head included the swastika as part of a song, "A YELLOW RIBBON instead of a SWASTIKA..." the use of the color yellow against or in replace of a swastika, was a change of symbolism to remove the hate and death it left after a war that tore the world apart. in further words from Jennifer Rosenberg; A Change in Meaning In the 1800s, countries around Germany were growing much larger, forming empires; yet Germany was not a unified country until 1871. To counter the feeling of vulnerability and the stigma of youth, German nationalists in the mid-nineteenth century began to use the swastika, because it had ancient Aryan/Indian origins, to represent a long Germanic/Aryan history. By the end of the nineteenth century, the swastika could be found on nationalist German volkisch periodicals and was the official emblem of the German Gymnasts' League. In the beginning of the twentieth century, the swastika was a common symbol of German nationalism and could be found in a multitude of places such as the emblem for the Wandervogel, a German youth movement; on Joerg Lanz von Liebenfels' antisemitic periodical Ostara; on various Freikorps units; and as an emblem of the Thule Society. Hitler and the Nazis In 1920, Adolf Hitler decided that the Nazi Party needed its own insignia and flag. For Hitler, the new flag had to be "a symbol of our own struggle" as well as "highly effective as a poster." (Mein Kampf, pg. 495) On August 7, 1920, at the Salzburg Congress, this flag became the official emblem of the Nazi Party. In Mein Kampf, Hitler described the Nazis' new flag: "In red we see the social idea of the movement, in white the nationalistic idea, in the swastika the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work, which as such always has been and always will be anti-Semitic." (pg. 496-497) Because of the Nazis' flag, the swastika soon became a symbol of hate, antisemitism, violence, death, and murder. What Does the Swastika Mean Now? There is a great debate as to what the swastika means now. For 3,000 years, the swastika meant life and good luck. But because of the Nazis, it has also taken on a meaning of death and hate. These conflicting meanings are causing problems in today's society. For Buddhists and Hindus, the swastika is a very religious symbol that is commonly used. Chirag Badlani shares a story about one time when he went to make some photocopies of some Hindu Gods for his temple. While standing in line to pay for the photocopies, some people behind him in line noticed that one of the pictures had a swastika. They called him a Nazi. Unfortunately, the Nazis were so effective at their use of the swastika emblem, that many do not even know any other meaning for the swastika. Can there be two completely opposite meanings for one symbol? In ancient times, the direction of the swastika was interchangeable as can be seen on an ancient Chinese silk drawing. Some cultures in the past had differentiated between the clockwise swastika and the counter-clockwise sauvastika. In these cultures the swastika symbolized health and life while the sauvastika took on a mystical meaning of bad-luck or misfortune. But since the Nazis use of the swastika, some people are trying to differentiate the two meanings of the swastika by varying its direction - trying to make the clockwise, Nazi version of the swastika mean hate and death while the counter-clockwise version would hold the ancient meaning of the symbol, life and good-luck. function obL(a){if(a Seeing this symbols on movies and documentaries used as symbols by Neo-Nazi gave me the latter idea of its meaning. As we've known it as broken cross. A symbol that could tackle hate for us, but if we've researched such thing we now know that such symbol was used for good purposes too. As I've seen it on movies like The believer, American History X, powerful movies who tried to change their world from hateful idealism and try to fix things of from the broken pieces that was pushed in their heads. Do watch the film. They'll give you ideas of what I'm talking about. This is but an article to clarify things, this is not to offend or provoke any racial discrimination, hate or any other things. I'm a man who believes could be attain if we put aside our differences, after all, sting had sang in one of his song, "we share the same biology, regardless of ideology..." [ Sting - Russian ]. We share the same planet after all

July 10, 2006composing: in a summer's fragrant bloomI'm having trouble composing this song. I want it to sound chill out but with that classical touch. I don't want to sound like Enya, though. I tried to emulate tool's triad style of reverberating noises from guitars, but sad to say, that's just not my style. so instead i've made it with my strength in piano playing. I've been mixing it for about 3 days now. I've only made at least 2min24sec of the track. I don't want it to sound too long, but I want it to stick in your head, giving you that feel good feeling. Ever had those morning when you wake up to a sunrise that's pretty much adoreable that if you had one point in your life to say, "THIS IS IT! the hilight of my life!" then this should be it. I've managed to layer 3 piano, with different tunes but progressively in line with each other. It's the first time I used my newly purchased second hand M-Audio Oxygen8 v2. Damn! this tool is so kick ass, but still I haven't been able to program it yet. It's a bit complicated with all the extra adjustments that you can set. I thought it was just basic plug and play, but you can still program it to suit your style. I've grown attached to REASON 3.0, that almost all of my musical works pass through this software. I've mastered several things regarding REASON, I've read manuals written by Lionel [Acid42], and it's really quite interesting. I've just recently learned how to loop things. hahaha. stupid. hahaha... The title's still pending, I want this to have a video of a flower growing or a larvae turning into a butterfly, or a sunday morning, from sunrise to sunset. A view of this timid horizon, where you can see this girl pirouetting to a sunrise in a white wash and a cyan blue effect of the sky. greenish color with old trees thats been dressed in white and a red silk tied to an old dying tree. a murder of crows thats been freezed framed and angled 45 degrees towards the sky. everything is freeze frame except this girl who dances to a freezed frame with only the sense of wind that touches the feathers or the skin of the trees. and flowers erupts from the tips of branches. damn. ever seen A Perfect Circles' Weak and Powerless? Imagine it but then remove that eerie feeling and you'll get the idea of what I want. You could also film this on a crowded street, with all the frozen people. and some slow motions to a zoom. I'm also trying to add some ethnic touches to it. I stay attached to my roots as a natural Filipino, rich in culture, ethnic diversity, with uses of kulintang or a kudyapi to this track, but sad to say, that's hard for me to get a hold off, so a didgeroo [i'm not sure if that's correct] would do. with udo drums to give a newer flavor. I've grown tired of using conga drums or bongos for that matter. I'll try to add tabla here once again. Soon, I'll be able to submit to QED. and hoping I could send this to SilverFilter for the Electronica Manila: TWO CD. which is supposed to come out on August, hoping he could really target that exact date. Anyway... back to the drawing board, or to the piano to be exact. 25 keys of it. Enjoi my past tracks. hope you like it.

July 4, 2006what have you been doing these past few days?nothing much.. I'm currently writing something, accompanied with a next track i've been cooking, entitled "theme song for a coffee shop drama." It's best to read the story while listening to that track.. It's kinda dramatic... he he he... and pathetic... I've been wanting to tell the story of a dream I had. I added several juicy stuffs to a once past reality, where I fucked up a relationship where I could have been happy for the rest of my life. sad to say, I'm a fucked up person. Along this, I'm re-editing some tracks that'll be included to an album that'll be included on a cd... There's a deadline, and I have to make it before the clock stops. Hoping it'll be released on August. Another 4 tracks will be released on QED records, though I have to release the un-edited version here so that those who buys the cd will have a different fold to a song. Sigh... I'm still collecting photos, i've already at least 15. Thanks to those who submitted. Writing about someone is not that easy... especially if they were a big part of your life. I'd like to thank tintin for this story. Talk about coffee shops/restaurant and its drama. I've also added some photos I had before. hope you like it. "the taong grasa adventures". Feel free to view and leave comments on them. I've also added a Filipino song, Apo Hiking Society's Ewan. for those who wants it to be translated, just message me. I know most of you don't understand the Filipino [Philippine] language. - t r o l l - [ b l e e d i n g b o y ]

June 1, 2006[song of the day] weezer - el scorcho
I like this song so much. i dedicate this to all the japanese looking girls i see everyday!
El Scorcho, Rock n'Roll! Goddamn you half-Japanese girls do it to me every time Oh, the redhead said you shred the cello And I'm jello, baby But you won't talk won't look, won't think of me I'm the epitome of Public Enemy Why you wanna go and do me like that? Come down on the street and dance with me (chorus): I'm a lot like you so please Hello, I'm here, I'm waiting I think I'd be good for you And you'd be good for me I asked you to go to the Green Day concert You said you never heard of them How cool is that? So I went to your room and read your diary "Watching grunge leg drop New Jack through a press table" And then my heart stopped: "Listening to Cho Cho San 'fall in love all over again'." (Chorus) I'm a lot like you so please Hello, I'm here, I'm waiting I think I'd be good for you And you'd be good for me How stupid is it? I can't talk about it I gotta sing about it And make a record of my heart How stupid is it? Won't you gimme a minute? Just come up to me And say hello to my heart How stupid is it? For all I know you want me too Or maybe you just don't know what to do And maybe you're scared to say "I'm falling for you" I wish I could get my head outta the sand 'cause I think we'd make a good team And you would keep my fingernails clean But that's just a stupid dream that I won't realize 'cause I can't even look in your eyes without shakin' And I ain't fakin' I'll bring home the turkey if you bring home the bacon (Chorus)I'm a lot like you so please Hello, I'm here, I'm waiting I think I'd be good for you And you'd be good for me

May 29, 2006Ateneo de Naga University: giving hope to the hopeless, moulding minds to be better.
Sigh, I miss my old high school.
The early ride on a jeep, then another ride on a tricycle, passing down the gate with one guard watching and telling you to wear your Id. Then pass the four pillars, across the hallway that divides the chapel and the administration office. And on your right is a wooden building, wooden floorplanks that's been scrubbed to shine by tardy, truants, naughty, arrogant boys. Come to think of it i was in on one of them. You're late, you scrub the floors, you've been into a fight? hell, you're guilty, so start scrubbing. and on a room where boys will be boys, were arrogance, naughtiness rules the room of 40 to 45 students. All boys, and all has their own characteristic. Sitting down on your right handed arm chair, vandalized by previous batches, and in some occassion watch out for the seat's edge, some chalk has been rubbed on it, and when you get up, bam. you're the victim of a prank. boys will be boys. and with a little insult that usually sparks with the phrase "your mother...", a fight starts. Boys will come running from other adjacent rooms, peaking over heads that had been first on the door, on the windows, as they watch to young men slugging it off, while others try to leave and avoid the fight that sparked over a simple word, that depicts someone else's mother. hahaha. boys will be boys. But this won't be complete with out the loud cheering and chanting, singing "happy birthday to you..", just like movies about prison life. It won't be complete until one guy, tries to even up the score with one of the contender, throwing a hidden punch on a crowd that surrounds the fight. I won't be complete. It won't be complete at all. Then comes the officers, the disciplinary board. the man with the ironfist. keeping the peace. Peacemakers they maybe to the eyes of a common uninvolved person, but he's the antagonist for the moment. he'll dragged them out, give them the most appropriate punishment, and if he can't find out the culprit? he'll drag everyone on that class with them. the punishment starts. onward scrubbing, onward carrying dirt of a construction that's being done outside the school ground. Investigation starts, families on the school, Loud voices on the corridor as teenagers stares to the visible aggression of a parent to a child. "worthless..." Worthless... We're not. Just misunderstood. We might be hopeless, but we've got an institution that teaches us great things. How to be great, how to be human beings, and most of all to be humane. and as students we learned to be brothers, and as brothers we learn to be one, united, intact. we moved as one, and help our fellow student. one thing that you'll never learn from any other school, i should know, i've experienced it. One teachet taught me of gaining my own identity, he sat down on a bench, while sipping his drink. He told me, "gain yourself, your own identity. It is who you are as a person, everyone needs to be someone, it is your chance to shine, but never forget who you are, as a person and being human." I'll never forget that advice. I'll never forget that teacher. Last time I've read, he passed away. Another good man has left the surface of the earth. From your standard CAT, we've learned to watch for each other's back. We moved as one, rowdy as we maybe but we can be DISCIPLINED. And we chose to be disciplined. With wooden rifles and a straight face that stares far ahead, we marched the street with pride, as we carry the flag that represents our freedom and our proud institution that never gave up on us. Golden plates shoned over night, white gloves that won't fit, holds the rifle in one hand as the other holds a rosary underneath the gloves begging the skies to guide us. Standing on a heated plane, in a watchful eye of the public. are we undisciplined then? I never forget the brothers that never hesitated to let us sipped water on plastic container, giving courage to take this vow of courage and try to be the best, we were not demanded to give our lives to this cause, but we were willing to give our best. We were blessed, and by the school's banner we proudly marched. We didn't win the "best in march award" that day, but we sure did earn the recognition of our discipline. We were rowdy, but we can respect the value of freedom. and most of all we can be disciplined. Boys will be boys. They're not the most intelligent but I bet you, they can take on the world proud, defending our colors. We are not hopeless as you thought we were. We're just misunderstood. And who supported us? teachers who never got tired to teach us. A language to learn and a language to own and respect. The fundamental education that controls our being. and most of all to be humane. what is to be human, when you, yourself, lack the essence of being humane. Boys will be boys, they can be too proud sometimes, but they're still better than what you thought or expected. In every corner of the world you can see Ateneo de Naga, on every resume, proudly worn colors abroad, never to meek about what school they came from, never to shy about what institution molded them into good men and women. And these days, the school had some changes, young boys and girls share the rooms and halls of a great set of pillars, that stands on the entrance of a great insitution. blackboards with written education, textbooks of prime knowledge, but without the teacher's voice to tame and gather every ear to listen, it will be nothing. eagerness to learn and the thoughts of their future rings to the words on every teachers' lips. now that's education. an Ateneo de Naga's kind of education. I have learned and practiced it well.

May 26, 2006bleedingboy - panalangin ng galit [prayer of an angy man]
this is a new song i've just written. i haven't made the final draft of the tune but i'll be composing the music for it soon. It's in Filipino [Philippine language].
panalangin ng galit bleedingboy mistulang tanga. nakadapang humihinga ng malalim... nakatunganga ka sa puting pader. laking galit mo sa mundo't naninilim ang 'yong paligid nakalimutan mo na ba kung sino ka? sumisigaw ang galit asan na ba ang langit at tila'y ako'y nawawala sa sarili at sayong mga mata bawat hininga'y pinipigil sa sarili'y pasakit ang lahat ng ito. sa galit mo nakita mo na ba ang 'yong sarili sa salaming di mo makayanan binasag na't pati ang yong kaluluwa inuutang sa kasalanang nagawa sa iyo at sa iba sumisigaw ang galit asan na ba at bakit nawawala ang sarili asan na ba ako? tila'y nababahala't iniwanan ng lahat at ng kungsino man kinakailangan mo sa buhay mo suklob ng kadiliman ang iyong mata'y nakakasugat tumatagos saking laman. bakit pinapaparusahan ang iyong mga kamay dumurugo. sinisi.. sinisi... ang mundo... aaahhhhh... sinisisi ang mundo... kulang pa ang krus napinapasan mo.. at humihingi ka ng gulo sa buhay mo. this is the english translation of the song, it's not exact since some expressionism isn't that easy to translate. prayer of an angry man bleedingboy looking like a fool lying down and breathing, haplessly... staring sober on a white wall baring grudge to the world that everything turns black around you have you forgotten who you are? screaming out with so much anger where the fuck is heaven? and it seems i'm losing my mind and in your eyes every breath you're holding you'll crucify yourself everything.. and with your anger have you ever seen yourself in the mirror. didn't you take it well that you had to break it and your souls been sold to every sins you've done to yourself and to everyone. screaming out with so much hate where the hell and why am i losing myself where the fuck am i? you're so worried that you left everyone and who ever that you needed in your life shrouded by the darkness and your eyes thats stares back at me, is pricking me through the skin. why do you condemn yourself and your hands are bleeding.. blame.. blame.. blame world. aaaah.. blame the world.. the cross you bare is not enough that you have to ask for more.
